Easter: Thank Jesus it's time for our resurrection as the Living Christ too!

It's Easter, the time that  Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection are remembered. Throughout Jesus' life, he was trying to teach us that we are God's children,  that we could do all that he did and greater with faith, and that the kingdom of heaven is within us. He wanted to be an example of love, for us. Therefore rather than focusing on the historical event of the crucifixion, I see it as a time for us to choose to arise as the Living Christ as he had, to follow his lead, to choose and teach Love all of the time and remember our unity with God.

We have crucified ourselves long enough with our unloving thoughts; thoughts of judgment, condemnation, fear, unworthiness, and so forth. We have nailed ourselves to the cross with our coldness and thoughtlessness and bought into the belief that we cannot rise above the consciousness reflected in society. But Jesus demonstrated that we can rise above this. We can also awaken to the mind of Christ that was in Jesus.  This can be a time for us to decide to awaken from the uselessness of egoic thinking: separation, victimhood, and weakness and recognize the strength of Christ in us and choose love over fear at all times.
